Greetings from your 2017 President,
It is my privilege to serve as the President of the ATD Piedmont Chapter. I am also excited to work on the chapter’s Board of Directors with a phenomenal team of talent and development professionals that are enthusiastic and dedicated to moving the chapter forward.
While our chapter continues to be a fiscally sound organization with a healthy number of members on paper, we have room to improve to energize members and increase the number of active members.
The Board of Directors met in January to plan for 2017 initiatives and reviewed your Annual Survey feedback. The Board is already hard at work to develop new initiatives.
Our goal is to reinvigorate your membership experience and attract new members. To provide you with more value, events are now free for members. We will offer Special Interest Groups, or SIGs to provide you with content, offerings, and resources focused on key talent development areas that are consistent with your needs. We will offer you more networking events so you have an opportunity to meet other talent development professionals. As a chapter, we are committed to finding new and different ways to support you and your professional needs.
We look forward to having a productive and collaborative year and it is our hope that you will join with other professionals at programs and events. We hope you will find a place to serve others and grow together.
